Anthony Dobaj
Founder/Chief Executive Officer
A self-described geek, open source evangelist, STEM advocate and technology wonk, Tony Dobaj has been developing electromechanical gadgets for around 35 years for such companies as Boeing, Nokia and IDEXX to name a few.
He formed Gadgettronix in 2010 to pursue opportunities in the IoT and wearable electronics, a burgeoning field fueled by some really cool innovations. Tony holds an MSEE from the University of Utah.
He got his start in the entrepreneurial community in the mid 90’s looking over his father’s shoulder while he founded Mrazek Cycles, a boutique mountain bike company that differentiated itself from others in the heyday of the mountain bike craze by having a unique look at feel based upon the designer’s affection for Samurai swords. He still rides his 25-year-old Mrazek and uses it for inspiration daily. He is really excited about bringing the two life aspects about which he is most passionate, outdoor activities and technology, together to enhance the experience and improve safety.
Bryce Randal
Co-founder
Bryce Randle is currently an Owner/Partner in Spoked Solutions, an inventions and intellectual property company within and outside of the oil & gas industry. He is also an entrepreneur, managing member in several small investment groups, and a direct supporter of multiple startups within the United States.
With over 20 years of experience in the energy industry, Bryce has worked in offshore environments spanning the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean, and Caspian Sea. Bryce was born in Chicago and from an early age had an inkling he wanted to make the jump to participate in non-traditional sports. Now residing in Colorado, boarding and pedaling in all facets feed his hunger.
Todd Stockbauer
Outdoor Industry and Financial Advisor
Through Stockbauer & Associates LLC, Todd provides fractional CFO, COO, Strategic, and Advisory guidance to various Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) brands. His expertise spans various industries including apparel & hard goods - outdoor, winter and active lifestyles, retail, alcohol beverage and food. Prior to his firm’s launch, he served as a financial or operational executive with Airwalk, Spyder Active Sports, brandbase Holdings and PL360 Beverage Partners, among others.
Todd is not a typical financial professional. His expertise allows him to understand the idiosyncratic personalities of both start-ups and multi-national operations. Todd understands how the operations affect the financial situation of building a brand and how the financial situation of a brand affects its operations. Todd is passionate about mentoring and providing entrepreneurial education and does so as a Board of Advisor and Board of Director to numerous for-profit brands and non-profit organizations.
Based out of Golden, Colorado, he intentionally flies under the radar. When off the books, you will likely find him on the road or trail cycling, skiing, hiking or on a plane in route to a favorite destination.
He holds a BA in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara and was awarded a California Certified Public Accountant’s Certificate.
